Brian Brazil-Head Football Coach/Athletic Coordinator/Special Teams Coach
Coach Brazil has been Hebron’s Athletic Coordinator and Head Coach since the school opening in 1999. Coach Brazil is a 1988 graduate of TCU earning All-Conference (OT) in 1987 playing for legendary coach Jim Wacker. He has over 25 years of coaching experience at Shepton, RL Turner and Lewisville and Hebron High School. Coach Brazil reached a milestone on September 27, 2013 by recording his and the schools 100th careers win a 28-7 win over Plano. He also lead Hebron to a perfect season with a 28-0 over Corpus Christi Calallen, which had not been shut out in over 20 years, to win the 2005 4A-II Texas state football championship. In 2015 Coach Brazil was inducted into the Pasadena ISD Hall of Fame. Coach Brazil has also served as President of the Texas High School Coaches Association from 2011-2012. Coach Brazil was the 2008 recipient of the Excellence in Education Award given by the TCU College of Education Alumni Association. For all his outstanding achievements, Coach Brazil has been recognized as All-America Football Foundation High School Coach and named district coach multiple times. Coach is also the 2014 recipient of the Tom Landry Award from the Texas High School Coaches Association. The Tom Landry Award is presented “for outstanding contributions to the game of football by a Texas high school coach whose life and actions have provided a positive role model for athletes and a credit to the coaching profession."
Coach Brazil is also been chosen as the 2016 Landry Award Coach of the Year. The Landry Award recognizes a Coach of the Year, who exemplifies the Christian values that defined Tom Landry on and off the field. A coach’s job is first about teaching life skills and molding young lives. They are shaping young people into the leaders of tomorrow. So many coaches in North Texas donate their time to be more than just a coach to kids. They are father figures, friends and, most of all, role models. They nurture them with unconditional love and turn them into the kind of adults that today’s world needs.
The Landry Award Coach of the Year, selected by Greater Dallas Fort Worth FCA leadership and The Landry Award voting panel, is one who encourages leadership, selflessness, maturity, respect and kindness.
Coach Brazil is 1983 graduate of Rayburn High School of Pasadena, Texas and is quite involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Prestonwood Baptist Church. He and his wife, Birdie, have three children, Danielle, Gabrielle and David.
William Farley (Freshman Head Coach-A Team)
Coach Farley started coaching and teaching at Hebron in 2005. He currently teaches World History and Social Studies. He is also an Assistant Varsity Baseball coach. Prior to coming to Hebron he was the Head Baseball Coach at Garland Naaman Forest for eight years. He also coached at Duncanville for four years. Coach Farley has been coaching for over twenty years. He is a graduate of R.L. Turner High School and North Texas State University. He and his wife, Rebecca, have four children, Jake, Joe, Jarrett and Katie.
Dave Brown (Freshman Head Coach-B Team)
Coach Brown has been at HHS9 since 2010. He teaches biology and coaches football. He also coaches pole vault during track season. Coach Brown was at Hebron High School for 4 years prior to coming to HHS9 and before that, was at Creek Valley Middle School for 4 years. Coach Brown is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
Austin Kaehn (Inside Linebackers)
2017 will Coach Kaehn's 1st year at Hebron where he will be coaching the varsity Inside backers, assistant soccer & teaching anatomy. This will be his 6th year coaching, 5th year in district. Coach comes to Hebron from Lewisville High School where he served 4 total years, including 2 years as defensive coordinator. Coach is a 2008 graduate of The Colony High School and a 2012 graduate from Bethany College where he played inside linebacker from 2008-2011 & coached inside backers the following season. He is married to his high school sweetheart Brianna and have 1 son, Landry.
Stephen Rumsey (Offensive Lineman)
2017 is Coach Rumseys fourth year of coaching at Hebron High School. He currently serves as the varsity offensive line coach and head coach for the JV baseball team. Prior to coming to Hebron, Coach Rumsey served as the offensive coordinator at Bishop Lynch High School from 2008-2014. Coach Rumsey is excited to coach in his hometown of Carrollton,Tx and at such a great school as Hebron High School. He is a 2003 graduate of Creekview High School and earned his bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He also earned his masters in education from UT Arlington in 2010. Coach Rumsey lives in Little Elm with his wife Leah, daughter Caroline, and his dog Sadie.
Bobbie Vaugh (Running Backs/Special Teams Coordinator)
Coach Vaughn has been teaching Outdoor Education and coaching both football and soccer since 2003. He has been with LISD for 20 years. He is a 1990 Graduate of Lewisville High School where he played soccer, football and track. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he played football and ran track. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He married his high school sweet heart, Lisa. They have three children, Brett, Bailey and Brady.
Beau Blake Burruss (Defensive Backs)
2017 is his 9th year of coaching and will be coaching varsity corners. Previously he coahed at Richland high 3 years (secondary), Jersey Village 3 years (DLine), Beeville Jones 2 years (DLine). 4year letterman playing DE for UNT from 03-07, Bachelor of Arts 08. Played DE/TE for Westmoore high in south OKC, graduated in 03. Proud husband of Rachel Burruss and father of Barrett Bogue Burruss. He loves reading books of multiple genres, training in the weightroom or running outside, golf, trying new restaurants, playing with our Bichon Frise (Bentley Burruss), supporting my favorite teams and all things North Texas, and being dad to the Bear. So happy to be a Hawk and carry the legacy forward. There is only one Hebron, and only one way to BTW
Tyler Bailey (Offensive Lineman)
Coach comes to Hebron after spending a year and half working at Anthony HS in Anthony, TX where he coach running backs and taught Social Studies. Coach is from Lexington, Kentucky where he graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar in 2005. He attended U. of N. Texas and played football from 2005-2009 and was a teammate with Coach Burruss. His first teaching/coaching job was in New Orleans, Louisiana at O. Perry Walker HS where he coached the offensive line from 2010-2011. He was the running backs coach at Bullard HS in 2012. From 2013-2015 he was Graduate Assistant at UTEP. Coach is married to Krystal and has one son, Champ. Coach’s favorite thing to do during his free time is to spend time with his wife and son.
Jeff Hill (Wide Receivers/Video Coordinator)
Jeff Hill teaches U.S. History and coaches football and basketball. Prior to Hebron High School he was the middle school coordinator at Creek Valley Middle School for one year, from 2009 - 2014 Coach Hill coached at Whitewright High School. In 2013 he received his Masters in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2009 with his Bachelors from the University of North Texas in Denton. Prior to UNT he played quarterback in college at Southeastern and Bacone College. He graduated high school from Bonham, Texas where he played football, basketball, baseball, and track. Coach Hill lives in McKinney with his wife, Amy, and their dog Emma. Coach Hill enjoys fishing, playing golf, taking cruises, and spending time with his friends and family.

Billy Whiteley (Head Trainer)
Billy has been in public education for over 20 years and has been at Hebron since it opened in 1999. Billy also teaches English at HH9. Graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Physical Education in 1991. Billy and his wife, Shannon, have two daughters.
Tiffany Whiteaker (Asst. Trainer)
Tiffany has been employed as an assistant athletic trainer at Hebron since March 2013. She has been working with closely with all of the sports teams and athletes at both Hebron High School and 9th Grade Center. She also teaches Sports Medicine I class. Tiffany has a degree Athletic Training from Texas Christians University since December 2011. She is both a BOC certified and licensed athletic trainer. Tiffany is married to Daniel Morales and they have two boys and a girl Braydon, Daymion and Kamrynn.
Cole Gradeless (Asst. Trainer)
Cole is a graduate of the University of Texas Athletic Training Program. He is both a BOC certified and state licensed athletic trainer. In addition to working as an athletic trainer for both Hebron campuses, Cole began teaching at Hebron in the fall of 2014. Cole also teaches sports medicine 1 at the Hebron 9th Grade Center.
